Important Notice: Federal Government Shutdown 


As of October 1, 2025, the Federal Government shut down. We are committed to supporting our customers during this time by providing assistance through our phone and web services. To help you manage potential disruptions, we have prepared a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with guidance, resources, and recommended actions. Click here to learn more.
 
 

Personal and Business Accounts

  • If you are unable to get to a branch, please use our online or mobile banking for immediate access to your accounts.
  • In addition to our First Federal Bank ATMs you also have access to the AllPoint Network.
  • If your business uses Clover for merchant services and your processing systems have been damaged by the storm, please call 855-401-8152 for assistance.
  • Business customers who were impacted by the storm and in need of financial assistance, state assistance may be available to you. 
  • Will my mortgage payments still be processed during the shutdown?
    Yes. Your payments will be processed as usual.
  • Can I still set up autopay or make online payments?
    Yes. You can still handle all normal day-to-day activity through your customer portal.
  • Will the government shutdown affect my Social Security payments?
    No. It's our understanding existing Social Security payments will continue throughout the government shutdown.
  • What if I’m a federal employee or contractor affected by the shutdown?
     It is important to prioritize your mortgage payment, but if you are unable to pay, please contact us to explore options. 
  • What should I do if I can’t afford to make my loan or mortgage payment?
    Call our Customer Care team if you are unable to make your payment. We will discuss options available, pros and cons to consider, and assist you with next steps.
